Evaluation and class attendance

EVALUATION

The evaluation of the learning process of the our students will be continuous, systematic, globalized, integrative and personalized.

The school and the teacher of each group will inform the students about the objectives to be achieved at the end of the course and the criteria and instruments that will be used to evaluate them. Throughout the course the students must be informed about their progress and the teaching staff must favour and facilitate this communication.

The school can prepare final tests to be done in a single call at the end of the course.

The school can prepare final tests to be done in a single call at the end of the course. The results of these final tests, together with the results obtained in the continuous evaluation process, will serve to determine the final grade of the course.

To obtain intermediate and advanced level certificates, the student must pass a test, as  established in Order EDU/34/2009, of 30 January, which organises the specific certification tests for intermediate and advanced levels of special regime language teaching taught in official language schools (DOGC no. 5318, of 13.2.2009).

ATTENDANCE

The attendance of students in classes is mandatory [art. 22.1.a) of the Education Act].

In case of absences greater than 35%, the student will not be able to be evaluated based on continuous assessment and can only take the final test.
